In the framework of the 9th edition of the International Journal of Tourism, Vatel Manila and Vatel E-Learning won the Innovation and Research Awards.

On Saturday April 29, the 9th edition of the International Journal of Tourism was unveiled by the CirVath* to participants in the 11th International Vatel Convention which was being held at Vatel Mauritius.

Present for the event, Geronio Ulayao - Head of Studies and Robert Tang - Academic Chancellor at Vatel Manila received the “2017 Innovation Award” from the CirVath for research work carried out by one of their professors on student experience on using Facebook to promote a class.

"Hospitality management students’ experiences and views on the integration of Facebook in promoting classroom communities of practice."

Also present at the Convention and to reward their work on “training courses adapted to contact personnel,” Alexandre Danjou, the Presdient and Martial Bombrault, the Operations Manger, won the “2017 Research Award” for their Vatel E-Learning program.
