NovembeR 2010: Vatel HOSPITALITY SCHOOL receives 2 international awards in its profession

All categories combined, Vatel had been nominated as a finalist four times, and has brought home 2 of the 3 trophies awarded to hospitality schools that exhibit the best communication campaign, the best innovation in teaching and the best professional success.

22 hospitality schools across the world competed in one or more of these three categories.

Vatel Hospitality School received the award for the "Best Innovation in Teaching"

Awarded for the creation of The Vatel International Business Game, a game specially created for the training of future managers in international hospitality. Conceived by and for Vatel, it brings Master students from all the Vatel schools around the globe into competition, and transforms them into the managers of a hotel. The decisions of each team are scrutinized by an external organization. The winning team, declared "Dream Team Manager", is the one that finishes in 1^st place in two social exercises (4 semesters).

Vatel Hospitality School received the award for the "Best Professional Success"

This award went to Guillaume Verchere, a graduate of Vatel Lyon 2005 with a Master Degree in International Hotel Management. Guillaume excels in Finance and has been, since January 2010 (only 5 years after completing his studies) financial controller for the Benelux region. He supervises all the brands of the Rezidor Group, which comprises 11 hotels from 3 to 5 stars.
